Internal Sales Administrator - Midrand

Minimum requirements for the role: A tertiary sciences qualification, ideally a BSc degree in Genetics or Biochemistry or related is essential.Previous experience having worked in a laboratory using various laboratory equipment is essential.Previous sales experience is not essential as long as the person has a confident personality and wants to work within the sales or marketing industries.Must have a basic understanding of the sales process as well as effective communication skills and telephone etiquette.Must have the ability to work within a team, building relationships with the sales team and other departments.Must have a good understanding of laboratory and medical equipment.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Receiving incoming sales enquiries via telephonic and electronic communication.Processing orders received as well as ensuring orders are expedited according to instruction and demands of the situation and customer.Attending to and resolving enquiries as required as well as generating quotations based on specifications from clients.Liaising with product managers regarding complex quotations as well as following up on quotations as required.Coordinating and diarising further follow up calls if customers and clients are not available.Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
