Key responsibilitiesClaims processProcess disinvestment requestsGenerate and checking of ROTsProcess tax applicationsGenerate and checking of EFTsValidate and signing off of claim lettersROT 01 submissionsProcess and check section 14 claimsClaim authorisation (Banking 1st or 2nd authorisation payments)Claim management and reporting thereofClaim SLA managementMonth end processProcessing and checking of Month end contributions (Including supervisor invoice review)Validation and authorisation of month end processes (cash outflows)Processing and checking S14 transfers inProcessing and checking individual transfers inProcessing and checking of investment trades (including instruction sign off)Pricing and validation of investment trades - Monthly SLA management and reportingFinance and AuditsAudit working paper preparation and query resolution Monthly bank reconciliations based on predefined deadlines Month-end accounting based on predefined deadlinesClient reportingPreparation and compilation of various reports per internal or external requestsCommunicationPreparation and presentation of internal or external training and client meetings - Query logging and escalation - Internal and external feedbackPortfolio ManagementTransaction review, validation and authorisationCompile, intervene and report on portfolioValidation, tracking and authorisation of section 14s in and outProvide intervention and technical resolution support across the business outputsPeople managementActivity planningCompletion, validation and sign-off on daily tasksMonitoring of activity progressManagement escalationEscalation of queries first line and second line escalation queriesSkills and experience requiredMatric and/or equivalent qualification with matric mathematicsBachelors degree in finance or science tertiary qualification will be required PreferredCertificate in Proficiency in retirement funds (COPMinimum of 3 years working experience in similar environment with good knowledge of Employee Benefits Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel Advanced, PowerPoint, Outlook) Everest experience essential Sound understanding of systems and experience with working with developers & programmers Strong working knowledge on figuresPersonal attributesAbility to work independently Initiative Time management skills Attention to detail Professional at all levels Friendly and helpful Proactive Excellent organisational skills Ability to liaise at all levels, both verbally and in writing Ability to investigate, analyse, reconcile and solve problems Ability to cope well under pressure Deadline driven Good track record Office hours 08:00 17:00 There will be occasions where the incumbent would need to work overtime
