Key Accounts Representative-Ekurhuleni (East Rand)Computer Skills MS Excel,MS Outlook,MS PowerPoint,MS Word Industry Steel City Ekurhuleni (East Rand) Province Gauteng Job Description Job Purpose: Promote and sell the organizations products and services to our main key accounts and acquire and develop new business.Key Responsibilities:Promotes and sells the organizations products and services by means of calls, visits and presentations within an assigned geographic area / product range or list of customer key accounts to achieve sales targets.Pursues sales leads, visits existing and new key account customers, assesses customer needs and advices on appropriate products and services, respond to customer enquiries, negotiates prices and delivery times and concludes sales orders.Assists key maintenance, engineering and production personnel of the customer at production/operational level advising on screen media adjustments/changes to raise efficiency and ease of operationIdentifies, researches and contacts prospective key account customers and builds positive relationships generating future sales and repeat business.Assists the internal sales team with clear and effective quotation preparation as required.Refers customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization.Establishes annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly sales plans and prioritises and schedules own activities ensuring sales targets are met.Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with Operational Manager.Participates in trade shows and conventions as and when required.Responsible for cross-functional operations, ensuring all tasks are completed according to sales and marketing strategies.Prepare/assist in preparation of Tenders/Contracts and manage initial design for plant and equipment within approved procedures.Execute all functions in line with the applicable delegation of authorityInvestigate customer complaints and recommend adjustments to product/service.To be fully aware of and comply with current responsibilities and requirements of the relevant OHS Acts, Regulations and applicable Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.Report all hazards, incidents and injuries in accordance with legislation and company reporting procedures;Ensure that the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is worn when requiredTo apply immediately for this position click here: National Senior Certificate or EquivalentValid drivers license with own transport5+ years work experience in Screening/mining environmentProven sound technical and engineering knowledgeProven sound metallurgical knowledgeProven record of achievement of budgets and targetsProven ability to prepare accurate quotations and written reportsMust be able to travel locally for operational requirementsProficiency with MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with clients.Appearance and behaviour appropriate to gain client acceptance.Must be a team player with the ability to develop sound relationships within the company and the customer base
