Marketing Coordinator


The Student Hub, an Educational Technology Start-Up specializing in developing innovative educational platforms within South Africa, is looking to fulfil the role of a *Marketing Coordinator**.* *The full-time position is based in Cape Town* *Job purpose:* The Student Hub is looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to assist the Marketing Manager with execution of key aspects of each project. We are looking for someone who is ready to work and grow in a fast-paced environment and is able to approach challenges with a positive attitude. * Organizing, prioritizing, and managing the timeous execution of marketing campaigns. * Assist the Marketing Manager with strategic planning of projects, creation of comprehensive briefs for the creative team, guiding creatives to ensure deadlines are met as well as writing detailed reports. * The Marketing Coordinator should be detail-oriented, creative, as well as display great organizational skills and be able to problem solve and take ownership of ad hoc tasks. * A diploma/bachelors degree in advertising, journalism, or relevant field of study is required. * At least two years of experience working in a marketing department or with creative teams. * Experience working with CRM platforms such as Hubspot; Salesforce; Google Analytics or Facebook Ad Manager would be advantageous. * Proficiency in digital marketing and advertising, including content creation, project or traffic management, and production. * Collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Must be energetic and proactive, someone who welcomes a challenge and is able to work in a high-paced environment. * Should take ownership and responsibility of projects. * Ability and willingness to rapidly learn and strive for continuous self-improvement. * Strong computer skills. * knowledge of paid advertising methodologies. * Ability to work in a high-paced environment is integral to succeeding in this role.
