Buying & Merchandising Assistant

Our amazing client is looking at growing their womenswear team with a driven Buying & Merchandising Assistant. The Buying & Merchandising Assistant will be an integral team member, working on various products within womenswear.

The duties of the Buying & Merchandising Assistant will include:

Input an effective merchandise file to the EKR and matrix systems

Ensure all aspects of departmental administration are maintained to a high standard

Coordinate the dispatch and collection of samples for shoots and PR

Arrange for samples to be sent to the suppliers

Prepare reports to present in weekly trade meetings

Analyse bestsellers and underperforming sellers

Support with actioning markdowns

Prepare and approve, with support, lab dips and strike offs

This is a hybrid working role, working in the office two days a week.

The Buying & Merchandising Assistant must have excellent communication skills and be highly organised in order to thrive when working from home. Above all the Buying & Merchandising Assistant must be personable, proactive and confident.
