Legal and Compliance Manager

Your new company
An international development consultancy who deliver innovative solutions to some of the most complex health challenges around the world. They currently have a need for Compliance Manager to act as the sole contact for legal and compliance on a permanent basis.

Your new role
As the Compliance Manager you will support the Head of the Programmes Department to ensure the consultancy complies with both its donor compliance requirements and internal corporate policies. The post holder will oversee a range of areas including, but not limited to, legal, data protection, due diligence and anti-dishonesty and bribery practices. The post holder will also work closely with the parent company's legal team on prime and sub-contracts and for complex contractual or legal advice that is outside of the remit of the post.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you will hold a law degree and ideally have completed the Legal Practice Course (or equivalent). Qualified Lawyers (including non-practising) will also be considered. You should have experience of working for a busy legal and compliance department, either in house or within a charitable organisation, and have a passion for international development and medical / healthcare law. You should have excellent communication skills and time management skills. Finally, you will be available to start the role at short notice.
