Children's Registered Manager - Suffolk - Up to £55K

Here at Hampton's we are working in exclusive partnership with a small children's residential care provider on the lookout for a highly dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to open a BRAND NEW home based in Suffolk. This home will provide care for 4 young people with social and emotional behavioral difficulties along with an additional solo placement. This role provides the perfect opportunity for a children's home manage to expand their skills and knowledge in a slightly larger setting than usual. Are you up for the challenge?

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective implementation of the Children Act 1989 and the accompanying guidance and regulations, the Care Standards Act and the Children's Homes Regulations
  • Provide leadership and coaching in childcare practice within the home to ensure best outcomes for children and young people

  • Ensure the assessment and evaluation of the needs of the young people is recorded accurately and comprehensively

Skills and Experiences

  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Children's Residential or equivalent
  • Specialist knowledge of Children's Home Regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • Committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for the young people
  • Well developed written and verbal communication

Salary: Up to £55K
