KPI Recruiting are supporting with one of our core Liverpool based clients with a brand new recruitment project for A STOCK CONTROLLER. The business have been established in their manufacturing site since 1964, The factory has expanded dramatically since it first opened, and the range of capabilities have grown! They specialises in picking and dispatching specialised products to an endless range of packing styles including retail bags and foodservice own brands. They have complete flexibility and ultimate control within their supply chain and this remains to be the driving force on standards within the food industry.
With roots in Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshirethe business has been trading for generations. From knowledgeable buyers and experienced account managers, through to expert processing, production and packaging division, the team are driven by a passion to source and deliver the finest products. They have valued customers who they have forged strong partnerships with hundreds of customers which includes wholesalers, caterers, manufacturers and multi-national retailers including some of Britain's fastest growing and most innovative companies! Their products and services are tailored to their clients, they specialise in supplying a wide range of high quality, predominantly frozen, foods to a variation of market sectors including Foodservice, Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturers and End Users.
This role will be based at the state of the art, purpose built factory on the outskirts of Liverpool, it is here that they use a variety of innovative methods. The facility tailors its packaging, making it bespoke for customers - ideal for the those who want to buy in bulk and brand with personalised labels. Within these factories there is the ability to cook, treat, or pack raw to custom specifications, proving a unique service to customers. The business are a major importer of a wide range of food and they impart their own high standards and expectations throughout the supply chain and are committed to sourcing from Sustainable, well-managed and responsible fishing areas and aquaculture regions.
The growing demand for complete transparency in supply chains is one that the business are at the forefront of! They pro-actively support a range of organization who are dedicated to the improvement and long term sustainability of stock globally, sourcing directly from partners and managing a supply chain that spans across the world with interactions right through from catch to customer.
YOU WILL BE
We are looking for someone bright and dynamic who can grow with the business and has the ability to maintain a forward thinking approach. This is someone who has the drive to succeed! You will ideally have a food manufacturing background and will have experience of basic planning. You do need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office packages including Excel. Due to their high standards of work, this candidate must uphold exceptional standards of work and you will understand what a “good” warehouse environment looks like.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, good organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. You will have a keen eye for detail as attention to detail is key!
