What will the role entail?

  • To maintain both weekly and long term production plans and schedules to assist in production efficiency
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through daily contact regarding orders
  • To receive and interpret daily customer shipping requirements incl. supporting with logistics, packaging and labelling specifications
  • To maintain weekly production schedules assisting in production efficiency
  • To co-ordinate line inventory checks of all parts and packaging, ensuring stock levels are in line with company policy Including coordinating and carrying out inventory checks at off-site warehouses
  • To arrange ordering of parts including weekly analysis of requirements & consumable items
  • To ensure availability of packaging for all finished goods
  • To ensure the availability/accuracy of all shipping documents including invoices

  • Background in supply chain / inventory / production planning
  • Experience of working in a pressured environment and effectively managing competing demands in short timescales
  • Experience of working as part of a dynamic team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Competencies working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Good IT skills
  • A flexible approach and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Attention to detail with an ability to work autonomously and with appropriate reference to more senior colleagues
  • Good use of time management and priority planning
