HR Consultant

A HR Manager/Consultant position that gives you true variety in your work, this position gives you the chance to work for a leading Consultancy company so you can work with different clients across the North. Based 2 days a week in the Wilmslow area and 3 days working with other clients or home based this is an amazing position to keep you challenged but with a company with decades of experience and an enviable client base.

This position needs someone who is passionate about contributing to business performance and delivering tangible HR/People solutions, in this position you will work directly with senior business leaders to make a real contribution towards the business performance, directly influence the HR agenda and contribute to decision making.

This position would suit a HR Consultant who is already working at a HR Manager level to support in the delivery of HR and Employment Law support services.

  • The role is fast paced, varied, and challenging with no two days the same.
  • You will be working with a variety of clients with HR teams who require employment law support and strategic HR advice
  • Working with clients who have no internal HR provision to design and develop their whole HR plan and support them with employee relations.
  • Develop HR plans that include people focused projects
  • Design and consult on delivering engagement, recruitment, performance management, reward and benefit and employee relations.

This is a role for a self-motivated, service-oriented true HR generalist who will enjoy the challenge of working with businesses of different sizes, across varying sectors to deliver employment law advice and strategic and operational HR initiatives.

Skills / Experience

  • At least 2 3 years experience in a generalist HR role
  • Advisor/Manager capacity with experience covering recruitment and day to day ER
  • A strong commercial aptitude showing a good understanding of business and what drives strong performance
  • Strong relationship building skills, able to build credibility with key contacts and stakeholders at a senior level and deliver value
  • CIPD qualified/part qualified
  • Flexibility to travel when required as clients are based all over the UK and Ireland. Must be able to drive and have own car.
