Recruitment Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive starting salary of Up to £30,000 with benefits, subject to skills & experience.

About the Recruitment Coordinator role:

This role is to support our stakeholders with recruitment for the Francis Crick Institute. The role will report to the HR Operations Manager and work closely with the HR Services team to provide an efficient, proactive service. This will include but will not be limited to advertising postings, managing candidates through the system, updating managers/HR on progress, interview scheduling and offer stage. You will develop a deep understanding of how your role fits into the recruitment process and be self-driven, have excellent attention to detail and be confident in working independently as well as part of a team. You will be working closely the HR Advisory team as well as Science Operations Administrators and Hiring Managers.

Responsibilities as our Recruitment Coordinator:

  • Develop an understanding of Workday for the purposes of your daily role to ensure the maintenance of good quality data in line with agreed data structures and configurations, and to ensure efficient, auditable processes
  • Manage recruitment administration areas in Workday in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage employee electronic personnel files in line with the recruitment standard operating procedures
  • Make suggestions for the on-going improvement and optimisation of Recruitment processes in Workday working collaboratively with the relevant colleagues
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all general recruitment queries from candidates, new starters, hiring managers, employees and non-employees, and where appropriate forwarding issues to the HR Operations Manager and HR Advisory team
  • Assist in the delivery an excellent on-boarding experience for new starters, including delivering exceptional recruitment support
  • Ensure roles are posted quickly and efficiently through the Workday system as well as on external job boards
  • Ensure the hiring managers are supported with quick and efficient interview scheduling whilst displaying excellent service through communication with candidates confirming availability and interview process guidance
  • Ensure the high standard and consistency of the recruitment data posted and ensure regular and open communication with hiring managers and key stakeholders
  • Working in partnership with the HR Advisory team, Science Operations Administrators and key stakeholders to ensure that a high level of service is provided to customer groups including face to face communications and demonstrating yourself as the front facing staff member and key contact for recruitment in HR

  • Good understanding and experience of working in a changing, faced paced environment
  • A basic knowledge of good HR practice including recruitment administration
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and outlook
  • Previous Coordination and Administrative experience in a customer focused environment
