Resourcing Manager

Job Overview

The overall purpose of the role is the management, allocation, and tracking of professional services staff using the Autotask System and to co-ordinate & support customer engagements with the PM team.

Role Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Act as subject matter expert for Professional Services by providing Governance and Assurance on Proposal Projects and Contracts within Autotask by working closely with the Transformation, Finance, Sales, Sales Ops, Pre Sales and PM subject matter experts.

Provide Forecast and Utilisation reports for Professional Services capacity based on the data captured in Autotask and PDP plans.

Assigning available staff to projects based on their skills and experience.

Management of 3rd party consultants and engineers in accordance with project capacity and forecasting budgets.

Assisting with employee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Providing project managers with ongoing resource management and related support.

Monitoring employee utilization, workload, and overtime hours.

Mitigating resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals, or assigning additional staff.

Assisting with HR processes, such as payroll administration, overtime and expenses, and staff training. Also to assist in the maintenance of our specialisations by tracking renewal dates and incorporating into forecasting.

Collaborating on resource management with internal departments.

Documenting processes and maintaining records.

Maintaining daily staffing reports and providing weekly updates to management.

Reporting scheduling issues and job vacancies to management.

Key Skills and Experience would include but not limited to:

A qualification in business management or finance will be advantageous.

At least 3 years experience in resource management in a similar industry.

Experience in managing forecasts.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.


MS Office (Excel) & Autotask or similar MSP tool
