Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Workshop Maintenance Coordinator on a full-time permanent basis. As an organisation the MTC bridge the MRL journey from R&D through to mature stable manufacture. They have a growing need for areas that were previously managed as research facilities to create a higher MRL environment more aligned to an industrial facility. To achieve this, they need to develop an enhanced Manufacturing Management System, and an organisation to run this system. The Workshop Maintenance Coordinator will play a key role in supporting this and making it achievable, by ensuring that they maintain robust maintenance processes and procedures in an operational environment that supports all MTC workshop requirements.

The Role
The Workshop Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for the configuring and day to day running of the maintenance management system to support the workshop maintenance team in successfully executing reactive and preventative maintenance.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
To be the operator of the Maintenance management system that will service all MTC workshops
Booking in and arranging visits from external contractors to perform maintenance on workshop equipment
Review and renew service contracts for workshop equipment
Support the data capture of maintenance running cost across all sites, including planned and reactive maintenance
In conjunction with the Health and Safety team submit external contractors health and safety documentation prior to work commencing on site
To support the planning, installation and acceptance of all workshop equipment within the MTC Workshop facility ensuring that all information is captured and logged via the maintenance management system
The Person
The successful candidate for the role of Workshop Maintenance Coordinator will have/be:
A recognised apprenticeship or qualification in the appropriate disciplines for the role
Experience in an Engineering or coordinator position
Experience of delivering tasks on time
Preferably with experience of planning
Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to work within a team-focused environment
