Digital Marketing Executive

Based in St Helens, our client are a leading manufacturer and distributor of Timber Mouldings, Stairparts, Balustrades and other Timber Products including Flooring and Sheet Materials servicing the UK Merchant, Trade and DIY sectors. They have numerous key accounts including B&Q, Howdens, Travis Perkins and Buying Groups like Fortis and NBG. Theyve consistently grown YOY with a proactive, positive attitude and the desire for constant improvement that has now seen them positioned right at the top table of UK Construction Materials companies, with turnover c. £40m.

The company are currently recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive to support future growth plans. The key responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive will include:

  • Deliver online marketing tactics - email marketing, database, website management
  • Plan and deliver email marketing campaigns
  • Maintain an email marketing calendar that supports campaigns
  • Review and report on email performance to demonstrate ROI
  • Responsible for website delivery (including CMS management) across digital channels such as, but not limited to SEO, PPC, display, re-marketing
  • Reporting on web traffic and recommending best practice to drive KPIs
  • Working with Digital Marketing agency to drive online performance
  • Produce monthly digital marketing reports covering; email engagement, web traffic and social media Impressions
  • Develop and deliver a social marketing plan to drive followers across all channels, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
  • Develop ideas and plan for influencer marketing to help drive the social marketing plan
  • Assist in general marketing where required

The successful Digital Marketing Executive will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree or similar in Marketing, communications or related field
  • Ideally Experience of working in B2B Marketing Communications
  • Proven experience of use and management of email marketing platform and marketing automation/workflows
  • Knowledge of best practice email marketing principles
  • Daily hands-on experience with HTML and content management systems
  • Experience of on-site SEO principles and implementation
  • Experience of PPC; creating display ads, implementing and managing across LinkedIn and GDN, understanding of best practice principles around Google ads
