Marketing Assistant

Our award-winning Marketing Team provides marketing support to Acorn's 40+ recruitment branches and divisions; aiding with candidate and client attraction and retention.

Responsibilities will include:

▪ Providing general organisational and administrative support to the Marketing Department; including copy writing, events, advertising and promotions, marketing development, and communications planning and implementation.
▪ Supporting the day-to-day maintenance of group social media, websites and the intranet, including on-line job boards.
▪ Liaising with both internal customers and external suppliers.
▪ Contributing to the delivery of specific marketing and communications developments, projects, campaigns and events.
▪ Undertaking various ad-hoc and on-going research activity, including sales / new client research, candidate development and competitor monitoring and analysis.
▪ Ordering and controlling of corporate stationery items, promotional materials and corporate gifts.

Qualifications and experience

▪ Good standard of education.
▪ Marketing qualification desirable .
▪ PC literate with a good standard of IT skills (Word, Excel, internet etc.).
▪ Previous experience of working in a marketing communications environment is desirable.
▪ A full driving licence and regular use of a car with business insurance.
