Marketing Executive

Nicholas Howard Limited are delighted to be recruiting for an exclusive role for our client in London. The position is for a Marketing Executive working on a hybrid model therefore can be available to work from home 2 out of 5 days a week.

Our clients group is a dynamic, credit orientated lending business with almost 140 employees and operations out of offices in London and Sheffield. The business is backed by one of Australias largest investment banks and majority owned by management. The business is part of a group of businesses that include a fintech start-up, a motor finance business, and a consumer finance business.

The company primarily serves customers that fall outside mainstream lenders criteria, making it a very interesting segment to serve. Customers are generally self-employed, contract or part-time workers, recent migrants, and those with complex or irregular incomes. Loan purpose is a mix of purchase and refinance, and they write traditional, help to buy, and buy to let mortgages

The role is based within the Mortgage business of the group and would be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing.

Job Overview:

This is a great opportunity for a highly capable and driven Marketing Executive to take the next step in their career. Working as the Marketing Executive you will take responsibility for a broad range of marketing activities, executing marketing campaigns in support of the digital channel growth, an overall analysis of campaigns performance to make future recommendations and events management support.

The successful candidates primary focus will be content creation/ email marketing/ CRM/ project management therefore the ideal candidate will be good at writing content, a creative thinker with a growth mindset a hunger for trying new ways of doing things, with a willingness to identify and devise new ways to solve challenges and engage with our audience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Produce valuable and engaging multi-channel content that attracts our target market. Working closely with the Sales team and business partners for dual branding marketing opportunities; so, it's a given that you will be passionate about developing lasting relationships and comfortable with presenting.
  • Ensure integration and consistency of messaging with our business partners is in line with our core business objectives.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing in developing the content calendar with events and campaigns to support follower growth, drive brand awareness and increase engagement.
  • Liaise with other areas of the business in developing appropriate and timely content, across the relevant platforms.
  • Write and create fresh and engaging content aligned to our audience's needs and stage of the broker journey.
  • Measuring marketing program effectiveness, recommending creatives, strategic changes and rollouts.
  • Develop the acquisition of new brokers and retention of existing brokers via Automation & Dynamic email marketing.
  • Database management.
  • Refine and increase broker profile information for improved segmentation and targeting.
  • Facilitate any database integrations and enhance the flow of customer data between all systems (Copper-CRM tool and Dotmailer - ECRM tool).

Skills & Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in similar B2B marketing role(s).
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a strong sense of urgency/attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with a growth mindset a hunger for trying new ways of doing things, a willingness to identify and devise new ways to solve challenges and engage with our audience.
  • Understanding of SEO & PPC and the role it plays in content marketing.
  • Financial services experience/Regulated environment.
  • Experience working with; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Indesign and Illustrator).
  • Excellent communication skills with a high standard of verbal and written English.
  • Willingness to learn, enthusiasm, infectious energy, and ambition to progress within a digital marketing career.


  • CIM or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
