Content and Social Media Executive

The Marketing team works with internal and external stakeholders to increase brand awareness and drive reviewers to the site, and grow awareness among organisations to use their services. This role requires you to create engaging content within financial services suitable for a range of different audiences and mediums, with a view to increase brand awareness and traffic totheirsite

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, yourkey responsibilitiesfor the role will be

  • Researching and creating content to be distributed across the companys blog and social media accounts based on the latest insights produced by our analytics and data, and responding to whats going on in the industry
  • Ensuring content produced is created with best SEO practices at heart
  • Creating and managing social media strategy across social media accounts with a view to increase audiences and engagement
  • Managing the day-to-day activity across social media accounts
  • Management and creation of the companys podcast
  • Creating regular newsletters to send to customers and reviewers
  • Working with the PR and communications agency to maximise results of content creation
  • Working with analytics, campaigns and sales teams to identify and create content from their consumer data and drive opportunities
  • Working with the design agency to create content in different formats to support distribution of key messages across multiple channels and mediums
  • Ensuring that the growth and visibility of the brand is at the centre of all content produced
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in social media

Thekey skillsfor the role are

  • Ability to create well-researched engaging content for different audiences
  • Experience working across the main social media channels

Proven track record in improving social media channel engagement and growth

  • Experience and background with social reporting and understanding social metrics
  • Interest in financial services
  • An ability to prioritise and juggle multiple activities at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, test new things and continuously improve
  • Experience of analytic reporting tools for website and social media
  • Enjoy working as part of a team but be able to work remotely as the business is virtual and does not have offices
