The role of Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is a pivotal role in the organisation and you will ensure alignment between short term requirements and long-term planning. You will coordinate marketing activities with their graphic designer, web executive, content executive and head of marketing and communications.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure marketing strategies reflect varied portfolio of products and messages are appropriate for busy school teachers and leaders.

Your ambition and sharp focus on results means that you will plan and deliver our clients marketing campaigns exploiting the latest technology to maximise results.

As Marketing Manager you will:

  • Devise, refine and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that leverages all the client’s marketing channels creating a seamless user experience across platforms.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to build and execute compelling multi-channel marketing programmes that achieve business goals.
  • Coordinate the activities of the marketing team to ensure there is a focus on the marketing plan.
  • Build AB tests for all campaigns and continuously iterate and ensure high deliverability using a test, learn and scale approach.
  • Manage MQL/SQLs in collaboration with the Sales Team to ensure a strong sales and marketing pipeline.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently for online and offline campaigns
  • Lead and manage social media activities ensuring alignment of messaging and brands across other platforms.
  • Use marketing automation to target leads effectively and efficiently through robust data analytics.
  • Measure and analyse channel performance to proactively recommend where opportunities for further optimisation and growth exist.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team and colleagues across the organisation to ensure that knowledge is shared and retained.
  • Provide regular management reports on the efficacy of marketing activities.
  • Design and implement marketing automation.


  • A minimum of 5 years marketing experience demonstrating an ability to develop and implement marketing plans.
  • Strong digital marketing experience
  • Experience of using technology platforms such as MS Dynamics (or an equivalent CRM platform), Force24 (or an equivalent marketing automation software) and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills to support inventive copywriting demonstrating best practice direct response techniques and proof-reading with strong command of English grammar and spelling.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to handle numerous projects spanning multiple teams.
  • Experience of working in a team with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and analytical focus with experience in setting/reporting ROI and KPIs.


  • Evidence of the ability to deliver innovative campaigns and creative which are on brief.
  • Strong relationship skills
  • Experience of working in a membership, education or professional services organisation.
