Email Marketing Executive

My client is looking to recruit an CRM Executive with an email marketing-based background to manage an upcoming new implemented market strategies.

Paying a basic salary of £23,000 - 24,000, Monday to Friday role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, ambitious and highly motivated and talented CRM Executive to join the CRM team for Europe’s largest golf retailer. As CRM Executive you will take ownership for the planning, execution of CRM campaigns and implement test and learn plans for optimising campaign performance and improving customer KPIs. The role will focus on email communications; briefing, campaign setup, audience selection, proofing and campaign performance analysis using pre-existing templates. The CRM Executive will also support the development of automated lifecycle email marketing campaigns. As a secondary role, the CRM Executive will assist in the creation of multichannel CRM campaigns to include web push notifications and supporting the production of Direct Mail campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Adopt best practice techniques to brief, build, proof, test, QA and commission campaigns within the email platform at pace and to a high standard across devices.
  • Deliver best-in-class CRM campaigns that support the online trading and retail marketing teams, improving key customer metrics and revenue.
  • Use segmentation techniques to select audiences to target emails to the right customers.
  • Champion and implement a CRM A/B testing/optimisation programme.
  • Implementation of dynamic content
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the content of emails including, online trading teams, designers, marketing, social & content team, buyers and merchandisers
  • Analyse results from email marketing campaigns to improve key performance metrics (deliverability, open rate, click through rate, sales).
  • Support the implementation of any new automated email programmes.
  • Identify & suggest new ways to present marketing assets and content and to keep up to date with the latest email best practice and technology.

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing email programmes is essential
  • Familiarity with Emarsys CRM platform or similar would be advantageous.
  • Experience with other first-party marketing channels: e.g. CRM Ads, Web Push, App push would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience using Google Analytics, creating bespoke reports is desirable.
  • Competent in using Photoshop with an ability to manage imagery and photo manipulation.
  • Capability to analyse customer and campaign data, making recommendations to improve future KPI’s, conversion and revenue.
  • Excellent attention to detail - Pro-active and a quick learner
  • Strong planning & organisational skills, with an ability to stay calm under pressure to ensure no deadlines are missed.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Good copywriting skills - Basic HTML knowledge would be useful.
  • The ability to work both as part of a team and to take individual initiative.
  • Knowledge of and an interest in golf/sport would be beneficial.
  • Ideally educated to degree level, preferably in a marketing/digital related discipline, but not essential.
