Paid Media Specialist - Claygate, Surrey / WFH

Salary £25,000 - £30,000 DOE plus benefits

There are 2 positions available for this role currently, which are being offered on a hybrid basis.The successful candidates will ideally work in the office 2 days a week at a minimum; and therefore either need to drive or be on the Waterloo-Guildford train line (as opposed to Woking) as the offices are right next to Claygate station.

We are delighted to be recruiting two Paid Media Specialists for an award-winning independent marketing and consulting firm who are experts in higher education, travel and lifestyle sectors.Due to expansion, they are looking for two Paid Media Specialists to join their busy team on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

Our client is looking for two exceptional Paid Media Specialists to run digital campaigns across paid search, display, programmatic and social advertising. From new campaign creation to scaling existing PPC accounts, they will be able to put together a strategy that achieves their clients goals.

The role has 4 main areas of responsibility: campaign building, campaign optimisation, analytics and digital marketing innovation. Working within the digital team, our client will give you the autonomy and responsibility to manage your campaigns and provide guidance and support when needed.

What Youll Bring:

The Paid Media Specialists will have the following role responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and monitor a portfolio of paid search, display, programmatic and social campaigns from conception to launch
  • Ability to distill data and metrics into actionable forecasts and insights for the agency and its clients
  • Accurately monitor budgets and spend, ad copy, bid prices, CPA and audience optimisation across multiple campaigns and channels
  • Define, measure and evaluate against agreed campaign KPIs, creating analytical dashboards to continually measure the success of paid media campaigns
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis, ad grouping and audience targeting to achieve optimum results
  • Ability to task-switch when needed across multiple projects, to efficiently project manage workload and meet deadlines for co-workers and clients
  • Write compelling ad copy with a focus on driving conversions
  • Actively measure and execute A/B testing for copy and landing pages to continually improve on and ensure optimal performance
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEM and PPC trends, industry best practices and new technologies
  • Mentor and train junior specialists

The Paid Media Specialists will have the following experience and skills:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, including written and verbal
  • 2+ years of experience as a paid media specialist across PPC and social advertising
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Critical, analytical self-starter with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Commercial client campaign experience
  • Google AdWords Certified
  • Google Analytics Certified
