PMO Delivery Manager - £85,000 - Bradford

The Bridge IT have partnered with market leading global organisation to recruit a PMO Delivery Manager.

The company in question have a strong Change Management function and are searching for a PMO Manager to manage and mentor at team of Project and Programme Managers driving forward standards in Delivery within associated areas.

Role Responsibilities
• Responsible for the service definition, management and delivery in relation to PPM & Business Analysis practices
• Manage and mentor a team of Programme & Project Managers and Business Analysts ensuring the highest standard of delivery within associated programmes and projects
• Relationship management across the business, including executive level, representing the PMO and IT function as a senior manager
• Deputising for the Head of Change
• Manage the demand pipeline of projects, ensuring project requests and outline business cases are scoped and estimated to enables assessment & prioritisation at executive level
• Manage and enhance the capacity management process to support portfolio optimisation
• Proactively communicate, escalate & resolve stakeholder concerns in order to drive forward delivery
• Provide direct, hands-on coverage or leadership if projects need to get back on plan, schedule and/or budget
• Ensure standard project management processes, documents & tools are used across the team and business
• Collaborate across the PMO & Change function, in particular with Project Support and Assurance to ensure governance & control in delivery
• Ensure standard business analysis processes, documents & tools are used across the team and business
• Develop and implement improvements, including automation and tooling within the PMO to support effective and efficient delivery across a broad project portfolio
• Build close working relationships with the IT & MDM and business delivery teams to improve delivery performance
• Develop, monitor and report on a suite of delivery KPIs in order to focus performance
• Surface & help resolve issues within and between key programmes. Ideally foreseeing these issues and resolving them they disrupt execution

Key Skills
• Demonstrable experience within senior portfolio, programme and project (PPM) roles in a complex environment
• Proven experience and successful delivery of business and technical changes across people, process and technology.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands.
• Strong organisation, planning & conflict resolution skills with ability to bring diverse groups together to arrive at shared solutions to complex problems
• Can demonstrate effective stakeholder and peer management of senior business and IT leaders
• Experienced in PMO management including program & project delivery and business analysis
• Hands-on people management experience in a fast-paced, stretching environment
• Experienced in leading and managing teams, staff, budgets and costs
• Can demonstrate through results the deployment of high performing teams
• Can demonstrate effective management of suppliers and their related contracts and services to deliver benefit
• Specialist expertise in the following topics: Portfolio / Programme / Project management and delivery and Business Analysis
• Professional qualifications (or equivalent) such as MSP, Prince 2, Agile methodologies and any other supporting qualifications and experience.
• Skilled in influencing, negotiating and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office tools such as Powerpoint and Excel
• Proficient in PPM software
