James Adams is seeking a Senior Business Change Project Manager to join a market-leading company with over 100 sites across the UK. They are widely recognised as the industry leader in their field and have a number of multi-million-pound transformation projects planned over the next 5 years.

We are looking for a well organised Business Change Project Manager to work closely with a variety of teams across the organisation. Whilst technology is often the enabler, an understanding/experience of managing the wider business impact is essential.

The successful candidate will have a responsibility to ensure that the project produces the required products for people, processes and technology within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits. The products may be delivered by business teams, IT or third-party suppliers.
The role:

  • Prepare baseline management products
  • Use the Change Management model to plan, coordinate and deliver Adoption and Change Management activities to ensure that the Project is successfully delivered
  • Prepare reports
  • Maintain and manage the RAID register
  • Liaise with PMO and program management
  • Liaise with any corporate or external suppliers
  • Ensure that behavioural expectations of team members are established
  • Establish and manage the project's procedures risk management, issue and change control, configuration management, and communication
  • Manage and lead project updates to key stakeholders, advising the Project Board of any deviations from the plan
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing for IT enabled changes
  • Forecast project resource demand
  • Support program delivery
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and training around business change approaches and methodology to project team members
