An international Bank is seeking a dynamic new addition to its Compliance department.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting the MLRO on all financial crime related matters
- Maintaining awareness of current Financial Crime regulations/legislation and ensuring any changes are reflected in the Banks policy/procedures
- Supporting in 1st & 2nd line of defence on all financial crime matters
- Undertaking regular Quality Assurance reviews of the CDD files for wholesale and retail customers
- Assisting in conducting Financial Crime Risk Assessments and collation of MI for MLRO and Head Office reports
- Preparing internal financial crime updates
Your experience must include:
- Proven experience working as Quality Control/Assurance and 2nd line of defence regarding Financial Crime is essential
- Strong CDD/EDD skills
- Proven experience in entity types such as Funds, SPVs, Trusts, Foundations, Charities and LLPs
- Good practical knowledge of JMLSG, ML Regs, POCA 2002, 4/5EUMLD, The Bribery Act 2010, International Sanctions
- Ideally Transactional Monitoring experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and good application of the risk-based approach
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
