Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Training and Learning team in NRW, the post holder will play a key role within the team.Our people require a wide range of training to ensure they have the right skills at the right time to enable them to carry out their role and maintain competencies.You will be required to provide internal advice on courses and suitability, you will deal with external suppliers daily, making bookings, confirming purchase orders and dealing with attendance lists, certificates and evaluation forms.
Working closely with Managers and Staff you will be responsilble for ensuring contracts are in place to meet the training needs of the business by utlising existing frameworks and developing new tenders.You will also support the training and learning needs of the business by co-ordinating the identification of training needs and the development, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programmes.

A good understanding of IT systems and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office
Have good organisational skills and the ablity to multitask
Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers and suppliers
Demonstrate initiative and have excellent attention to detail
Be able to work as part of wider team and follow instructions
Experience of working effectively to multiple deadlines within a busy office environment.
The role is part of the People Management Function, that sits within the Corporate Strategy & Development Directorate.People Management is made up of Wellbeing Health and Safety, Human Resources and Training and Development.This role will be managed by the Team Leader Training & Learning.
Qualifications and Skills
1.Experience of working with teams across the business and managing competing priorities.
2.Experience of tender process and drafting Training requirements.
3.Good organisational skills and excellent planning.
