The Head of the school is offering a great opportunity by looking to bring on board a Support Mentorwho can workwith students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, alongside the Teaching and Therapy teams to help address the needs of students across KS3-4.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Support Mentor SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Being a stable role model and positive influence on the assigned student(s)
  • Ensuring an orderly classroom environment is maintained
  • Liaising with teachers and therapists to feedback student progress and areas for improvement
  • Developing a mentoring relationship with individuals
  • Competitive rates of pay at £85.00-£90.00 per day (weekly pay)

  • An understanding of social and mental health and issues faced by teenagers
  • Strong Admin and organisational skills
  • Experience in the last 2 years of working with secondary children ideal
