A SEN school in Merton is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their hospital school team. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting on both a 1:1 and small group basis with Secondary-aged pupils who have needs inclusive of autism (ASD), behaviour and social emotional mental health (SEMH) needs. You will be given the opportunity to have some outreach responsibilities to encourage pupils to re-engage with education. Practitioners with a background and/or keen interest in psychology and mental health would be a great addition to the school. They will also warmly accept applications from graduates in fields related to psychology.
