Veritas are working with a Primary SEMH Schoolbased in Hounslow. The school cater for ages 4-11 and support students with a range of Learning difficulties, many of the students have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. This includes students with ADHD, and compulsive disorders.
The school are looking for committed TA's and Mentors to join their team and support across all year groups. The school are looking for staff that can commit long term. An individual with previous SEN/mental health/ youth worker experience is desirable or someone that has previously worked at a challenging school.
This role will require resilience and strong behaviour management skills. A certificate in Team teach or MAPA is desirable. Responsibilities will include monitoring behaviour, helping to develop learning, social and communication skills and providing feedback to SLT.
The school is accessible by a number of local bus routes. There is parking available at the school.
