We are looking for motivated individuals who are willing to commit 2 to 5 days a week to work with students with SEMH needs in an Alternative Provision in Bristol.

Responsibilities and duties
Supporting 1:1 in class
Help the students to access the curriculum and possibly tailor the lesson of the activity to their level of ability
Build a strong relationship with the pupils and teaching staff to ensure that the pupils are achieving their potential
Be a support to the students when they are struggling, and help them to calm down and remain focussed

Essential Criteria:
Previous experience working with individuals with SEN/Autism/Complex Needs/SEMH
2 years worth of references, 1 has to be working with children or vulnerable adults (needs to be recent and this could be paid or volunteer work)
A relevant DBS/Police check and proof of right to work in the UK
Able to work between 08.30-15.30 and a minimum of 2 days a week

Five Education do not believe in using umbrella bodies, we use PAYE and how this isnt comparable with umbrella body pay and that there is no admin fee as with Umbrella bodies and Five Education pay employers national insurance on top of the salary. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
