Job Summary

The Department of Animal and In vitro ADME provides support to the pharmaceutical, veterinary pharmaceutical and chemical/agrochemical industries by evaluating the metabolism and disposition (ADME) of new chemical and biological entities?in vitro?and?in vivo?in a variety of test species. The current role will primarily focus on assessment of tissue distribution, excretion and plasma kinetics in small and large animal species, including livestock, predominantly using radiolabeled test materials, with the potential to cross train across the department in in vitro, livestock and regADME studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and management of ADME?studies in multiple species to support drug and agrochemical development
  • Data manipulation and review and preparation of scientific reports?
  • Establishing strong client relationships
  • Contributing to staff training and development programs
  • Supervision of junior staff
  • Ensuring a high quality of work from enquiry to study completion

Minimum Requirements:

  • A degree in a Life Science or chemistry related subject.
  • A significant level of hands on experience in the conduct of?studies, previous study management experience in a CRO desirable
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to focus on clear study outcomes
