Accounts Assistant

Our client, a reputable manufacturing business in North Wiltshire are looking for a bright, competent Accounts Assistant to add to their Accounts team.

To be considered for this role you will need to have demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced, varied accounts role, you will have good working knowledge of sales ledger, purchase ledger, reconciliations, basic reporting and analysis.

Excellent communication and prioritisation skills are essential and you will have the confidence in your abilities to hit the ground running and have the initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities will include:

?Posting Sales Invoices

?Reconciliation of Sales Ledger

?Sales Ledger Queries

?Credit Control/Customer Statements

?Monthly Sales Reports

?Posting Purchase Ledger Invoices

?Reconciliation of Purchase Ledger

?Answering queries on Purchase Ledger

?Running Payment Schedule

?Making Purchase Ledger Payments

?Set up new suppliers on accounting software

?Reports on debtors and creditors

?Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing

?Weekly Wages Cover when needed

?Letter of Credit Documentation when needed

?Closing Works Orders when needed

?GRNI Monthly Reports

?Any Ad Hoc reports/Data Analysis as requested.

?Intermediate knowledge of MS Software Excel and Word

You will join a robust team and business that is very well established and has enjoyed success in their niche area of expertise for decades, and will do so for decades to come. The role will suit someone experienced and passionate about all things ledger level related.

On completion of around 12 weeks on a temporary basis, on proven capability and team fit, you will secure the position on a permanent basis and will be well remunerated up to £25,000 p/a dependent on experience.
