£44-£55k, plus package (Car/car allowance)

Based in their brand-new offices in Milton Keynes, this civil engineering and groundworks company have recently won long-term contracts with the biggest landowners in the UK, where they will be doing the groundworks and civils for all their residential and commercial sites. As a finance coordinator youll be responsible for

The timely production of:

  • Monthly management accounts and board packs
  • VAT returns, P11Ds
  • Reviewing and reconciling the balance sheet
  • Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Budgeting and audit
  • Processing monthly payroll journals and reconciling salary, PAYE & NIC control accounts and reconciling figures with HMRC records
  • Reviewing supplier and subcontractor payments and authorising payments
  • Improving processes and implementing controls
  • Promoting an ambitious culture throughout the Finance Department
  • Working closely with Managers and Surveyors to ensure the financial information is accurate
  • Super user of the system (Integrity MX)
  • Supporting the Board on ad-hoc projects and reports to support senior management understand the business trends and make decisions.

Must haves

  • Qualified ACCA or CIMA

**Construction experience is NOT essential**
