Payroll Administrator

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR – Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to work at Quest Employment’s Head office in Northampton.

The role will be working within the current Payroll team, assisting with the weekly payroll for 12 branches.

Long term position, £12.00 per hour. Immediate start.

Duties:

  • Manage payroll Exceptions and resolve prior to import into payroll software
  • Input statutory changes, P45, P6, and P9, student loan notices and court orders
  • Importing New starter and Payroll spreadsheets into Tempaid
  • Conducting Pre-Allocation checks once the payroll is fully imported
  • Assist with monitoring the payroll inbox and dealing with queries in a timely manner
  • Producing annual leave reports and distributing to branches
  • Producing weekly notification emails, by email merge
  • Maintaining/updating various weekly spreadsheets with data from Tempaid
  • Processing P45 requests from branches
  • Process other payments/deductions within agreed procedures
  • Collating audit data from Tempaid and Profile on an adhoc basis
  • Assist Branches to resolve any payroll errors that may occur
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Payroll legislation and internal policies
  • Perform any other tasks associated with Payroll Administration to complete the payroll within agreed deadlines
