Position: Sales Administrator/Trade Counter

Location: Park Royal, NW London

Salary: £21-24k Basic, on-Fri 7-4pm

The Company:

We are delighted to be recruiting again for an established family-run interior glass processing company in NW London with a history that spans over 100 years. They deliver unique and beautifully made glass and glazing projects to the residential and commercial market and everything in between. They are a recognised source of diverse glass and mirror products and a combination of skills and cutting-edge technology allows their team to produce a whole range of bespoke glass products from royal palaces to mega yachts!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service. They are a glass business but it's not necessary to have experience within the glass industry.

They are a family run business and been trading since 1913. They focus on training their employees and developing their skills to allow them to grow within the business.

Main duties include:

  • dealing with customer enquiries and putting orders into production. Overseeing orders from enquiry to collection/delivery stage, this includes taking payments, getting signed collection notes and so on
  • dealing with customer queries and complaints promptly
  • building excellent relationships with new and existing customers
  • providing efficient and effective administrative support for the department
  • achieving sales targets for the department
  • you will be working in a small team dealing with sales of glass, mirrors and ironmongery hardware
  • perform any other duties including stock-taking, placing orders with suppliers and contacting customers

The ideal candidate will:

  • have strong communication skills face to face, over the phone and email
  • have passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
  • be confident in dealing with a variety of customers like builders, trade customers as well as designers and architects
  • possess a positive Can-Do attitude
  • have good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and use their own initiative
  • have good IT skills
  • be willing to comply with Health and Safety, company policies and procedure
