Unipart Logistics would like you to join our team as a Finance Business Partner to work on a new contract of ours in Cowley and to be responsible for the project accounting for a new site in the Midlands. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Producing UL and Client budgets and forecasts, drawing on inputs from relevant logistics management and central finance team
  • Driving improvements in internal management information
  • Maintaining and developing effective financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Driving daily and weekly contract reporting
  • Providing insight into the numbers to the Contract Management team
  • Identifying and quantifying benefit share opportunities within areas of responsibility
  • Reviewing and reconciling client invoices to ensure expected both client and UL results are as expected
  • Reviewing UL profitability to ensure margin is in line with expectations
  • Designing and owning monthly cost schedules as required for Internal and Client reports
  • Presenting the analysis at client review meetings
About You
  • Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA with a good commercial acumen
  • Good MS Excel Skills (incl. PivotTables & VLookups)
  • Great communication skills both spoken and written
  • Strong planning, organising, and time management skills
  • A real focus on the Customer
  • Ability to continuously improve
  • Strong team player
  • Adaptable and able to react quickly and effectively to changes and requests
