Payroll Administrator

Full time or four days per week

Based in our London City office - Bishopsgate London EC2

Salary: to £28 - £30,000 based on full time hours

A well established and successful Recruitment Company for over 40 years are looking for an experienced and personable Payroll and Credit Controller to join their small

in- house Finance team and you will be reporting directly to the Accounts Manager.

Our office is one minute away from London’s Liverpool Street Station.

The role involves providing support for the accounts department. On a day-to-day basis duties will include:

? Responsible for processing a large temporary staff weekly payroll using Tempaid – liaising with Managers and Consultants

? Dealing with starters, leavers, paying salaries and HMRC submissions

? Responding to all employee queries relating to their pay and ensuring complete records are maintained

? Communicate effectively with customers by phone and email

? Credit Control duties chasing outstanding invoices in a timely and customer focused manner

? Keep the Consultant team and manager aware of any issues

? Creation of invoices using Tempaid and posting to the Sales Ledger

? Preparing data from Tempaid ready for Pegasus accounting software import

? Preparing payment schedules and handling reconciliations

? Other duties that may arise in the finance dept

Person specification:

? Strong knowledge of payroll software Tempaid or similar

? Some experience working in a credit control role and chasing outstanding accounts

? PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

? Strong attention to detail

? effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

? Confident personality in order to speak to customers
