Your New Role as Assistant Accountant:
Reporting to an engaging Finance Manager, as Assistant Accountant you will enjoy a varied position which will provide hands on exposure, with specific responsibilities including:
Supporting with month end and reporting requirements, meeting deadlines
Bank reconciliations (including multi-currency)
Balance sheet reconciliations
Accruals, prepayments and journals
Treasury/cash accounting duties
Supporting with process and system enhancements as required
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant position, you will be analytically minded with a forward thinking approach to your work. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or actively studying CIMA or ACCA (a full study package will be available if required). You will have good grounding knowledge of routine accounting duties with the ambition to develop these skills and progress your finance career further. This is a business facing role which requires regular liaison with various internal stakeholders including non-finance staff and senior management, therefore strong communication skills are imperative with the ability to provide advice and challenge if required.
