Financial Operations Accountant

A great opportunity to join one of the leading and most successful Lloyd's underwriters at a time of strong growth. The role acts as a key point of contact for a number of group companies and additionally supports much of the wider finance function. Duties will include:

  • Management of the financial close process through various monthly/quarterly financial and management accounting processes, including:
  • Processing journals for a number of group companies
  • Ownership and production of the quarterly management accounts, balance sheet and income statements for a number of subsidiary companies
  • Managing of intercompany process for group companies
  • Managing the prepayment and accruals process.
  • Assisting with the production of papers for Board and Committee meetings
  • Ensuring completeness of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintaining appropriate documentation of relevant accounting processes
  • Act as key point of contact for internal and external auditors
  • Specific accounting for a number of MGA companies in the group
  • Process oversight and development for treasury and AP Processes
  • Integrating processes for new companies to the group
  • Assisting with the submission and review of manual and BAC's payments
