Our client is a small wealth planning business based in West Sussex, providing financial planning and investment advice across investments, pensions and protection for a range of clients.
The IFA support / Client Services role is for a 3- or 4-day week, where 1 or 2 of those days could be worked from home, provided the candidate can be flexible when cover is required in the office in the event of absences or holidays. Office attendance would be required for an initial training period.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in IFA Administration / Investment Administration or have a strong financial services background with a willingness to train and learn about financial planning. Reporting to 2 Directors and working within a small team of 6 people, the role provides a high level of Investment Administration support to the Directors, and a high standard of administration support service to the Companys Financial Planning & Investment clients.

The IFA Support role will update price fees, prepare client valuations and produce online illustrations.
The IFA Support role will process and monitor new business online and in paper format.
The IFA Support role will enter client information on the database and in paper files and ensure all systems and documentation are accurate.
The IFA Support role will liaise with product providers and clients.
The IFA Support role will be involved in Financial Planning and Investment meeting preparation.
The IFA Support role will pre-complete forms for new and transferring pensions, protection and ISAs and submit forms to providers.
The IFA Support role will action and acknowledge incoming post and emails and will follow up on queries, chasing through to successful completion
+ 1 years experience in administration ideally in financial services - with a strong focus on providing a high level of client service. Ideally within Financial Planning or Investment Management however general financial services background will also be considered.
Administration of pension and life business and Iress/X-Plan database - beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.
