Payroll Manager

Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large established company in Leeds, Yorkshire who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the payroll for the group and communication with the outsource provider.

Key Duties/Tasks:

  • Managing a small team
  • Business as usual for an moderate volume payroll
  • Process on a pay monthly basis
  • Proactively initiating, consulting and implementing procedures to ensure that payrolls are processed accurately
  • Dealing with HMRC and keeping in line with all current legislation
  • Payroll Reconciliation
  • Producing reports for senior management
  • Some overtime and bonus's
  • Project work

Desirable skills and attributes:

  • Payroll experience as a Payroll Manager or in a Senior sole Payroll position
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Experience of processing payroll accurately and at senior levels with discretion
  • Experience of Automation, continuous improvement, process implementation
