Credit Controller

A multisite manufacturing company in Blaenavon are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller for an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

An established presence in the area the company is an advanced, highly skilled manufacturing business, providing products and solutions to their customers. The role of Credit Controller sits within a defined Finance team and reports to the Finance Director.

Credit Controller duties

  • Cash Collection & Allocation, Aged Debt Analysis ensuring all debt is collected promptly.
  • Production of monthly Customer statements, Raising of Proforma Invoices.
  • Query resolution Investigate & Resolve queries in a timely manner with Internal & External Stakeholders.
  • Responsible for credit control and debt reporting, for review with the Finance Director.
  • Monthly & Quarterly Cash Forecasting, update daily cash books and completion of bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable - Payment runs, Statement Reconciliation, Verification and updating of supplier bank details etc.
  • Nominal Ledger Account Reconciliation.
  • Daily Invoice report for Factoring.
  • Nominal Ledger Journal Postings.
  • Intercompany reconciliations.

Credit Controller persons specification

  • Resilient by nature.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT and systems abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn.
