Senior Management Accountant

KennedyPearce are partnering with a Real Estate company based in the heart of London who are hiring a Senior Management Accountant. This division has gone through a period of growth and now have a turnover of £250 million +. You will be joining a team of 6 and will have a broad role including management accounts and business partnering.

Hybrid working: 3 days in the office expected.

The role:

  • Key point of liaison in finance for the entity - key stakeholders include the shared services team, Country Finance teams and the Group reporting and Group treasury teams
  • Oversee, review and analyse the monthly management accounts
  • Prepare the monthly rolling cash flow (12m / 18m) for the EME region and provide commentary on key movements
  • Prepare key reconciliations/analysis to support decision making in the business including Forecast Bridges, Cross Border P&L analysis and Acquisition Payment analysis
  • Drive the recharge process costs to be borne by the Country teams. This is to include review of appropriate cost drivers, ensuring that costs are accurately captured from the accounting system and ensuring that the invoicing process is compliant with Tax/VAT requirements through contact with the relevant Group teams
  • Facilitate the organisation of key payments (e.g. Dividends, Acquisition payments, Share vestings and key recharges) alongside Group Treasury and the Shared Services team
  • Prepare the annual financial statements for 2 UK Holding Companies and oversight of the preparation of other UK Holding Companies in the region (currently 3 prepared by the team in the Middle East).
  • Support the FP&A team with the Monthly, Interim and Year-End reporting for EME
  • Coordination of certain Finance teams across Europe to facilitate the timely and accurate production of financial information

The candidate:

  • Qualified accountant with 1-3 years PQE
  • Experience of working in the Real Estate and/or Professional Services sectors
