Personal Tax Adviser

Are you an ATT qualified tax professional with 2 years tax experience in practice? Our client, a Top 100 independent accountancy firm is recruiting for a Personal Tax Adviser to join the team at the firms Oxford office.

This is a firm that really invests in their people and will enable you to grow and develop your career whilst working in a role involving interesting and varied client work. This is a full-time permanent position that offers hybrid working (one day per week at home) and flexible working options to suit.

The firm has a varied client base and provides a full range of services including financial planning, advisory, insolvency, corporate and personal tax, audit, accounts, outsourcing and payroll. Clients range from private clients to owner-managed businesses and large international subsidiaries.

You will have the opportunity to be a part of the firms ambitious growth plans, with a strong focus on innovation and technology to help their clients make informed decisions on how to grow their business.

As Personal Tax Adviser, working closely with Directors, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support a wide variety of personal and business clients
  • Assist Directors with advisory projects
  • Complete tax returns and P11D compliance
  • Support internal business development activities
  • You will be encouraged to attend client meetings and have regular contact with clients
  • Other tax and accounts work as required

  • Minimum 2 years UK practice tax experience
  • ATT qualified
  • Some accounts experience desirable
  • Strong customer focus & attention to detail
  • Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Confident, positive, professional and can-do attitude
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly
  • Create a positive impression with clients and staff
