Senior Marketing Executive

Newstaff Employment Services are recruiting for a Senior Marketing Executive to join a progressive company.

You will need an understanding of direct and indirect marketing, SEO/PPC, social media management and customer journey maximisation to get to interview stage, and a professional and friendly outlook to join our growing team.

As the Senior Marketing Executive you will have the chance to be involved in the recruitment for the two roles that will report into you. You will report to the Commercial Development Manager.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience in a diverse B2B environment
  • Excellent communication skills and command of written English
  • Ability to analyse all functions and apply rational problem solving
  • Experience of reporting and presenting data and analysis
  • Track record of successfully keeping multiple initiatives on task
  • A commercial approach, focused on customer acquisition and retention
  • Ability to work in a flexible and adaptive way, with experience of working across teams and building relationships

Desirable Skills:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Wordpress platforms
  • Experience of running CRM marketing including email-based marketing campaigns

Key Responsibilities:

Ultimately to take full responsibility for how the company’s marketing activities deliver the overall marketing strategy

  • Oversee marketing department workflow, intervening and motivating as required
  • Ensure the website and all materials meet the needs of all stakeholders
  • Deliver a first-class digital marketing experience to drive leads and conversions
    • Rigorously test, measure and analyse all areas of work and be able to articulate findings at management level
    • Identify and prioritise new opportunities to drive growth
    • Model and uphold a high standard of customer-facing communications, consistent with our brand and values
    • Lead a proactive social media strategy
    • Progress the company’s SEO/PPC and UX optimisation
    • Engage with suppliers and agencies

The Working Environment:

They are a friendly team and committed team who largely work remotely from home, with an office in St Albans for meetings and team-working. They meet weekly as a whole company in person on a Monday morning, which is a highly important aspect of the way they work.

The ideal candidate will be professional, self-motivated and ambitious, and will ideally have some experience of working from home.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis (08:30-17:30, with an hour for lunch) although flexibility around exact hours worked each day could be considered for the right candidate. The role is offered with a generous £1,000 annual personal development budget and opportunity for growth within the role.

Starting salary: £30,000- £32,000 pa depending on experience

Additions: +bonus +£1k personal training budget +opportunities for salary growth Holiday: 25 days plus all bank holidays and a fully paid (non-contractual) half day every third Friday
