Accounts Administrator

A leading food producer is looking to appoint a Accounts Assistant at their site near Preston.


Purchase order entry and GRN processing

Invoice matching

Credit note processing and inter-site claims

Customer order entry

Sales invoice creation and subsequent invoice checks

Order release for invoicing and subsequent control checks

Communication with commercial, operation, site management as necessary

Bank reconciliation

Remittance and cash allocation

Provide assistance and cover various tasks within the admin team, both for holiday cover and on a daily basis

Ad-hoc duties and reporting

Successful candidate will have:

Reasonable experience of working in a busy computerised administration environment.

Experience of working with a computerised accounting system, it is desirable to have worked on an ERP system

Have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Good organisation and communication skills.

Can work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative and be able to work to tight deadlines

Be flexible in order to ensure that the requirements of the business are achieved.
