Hamilton Woods Associates are working with an exclusive client based in Castleford that are expanding within their transactional finance team.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for all financial administration including recording and reconciling financial transactions - Purchase and sales ledger processing, including creating and processing sales invoices, processing, scheduling purchase invoices payments & payroll.

Key Accountabilities of the Bookkeeper:

  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and balance sheet control accounts
  • Management of sales and purchase ledgers
  • Assist in the preparation of yearly and monthly management accounts
  • VAT return preparation for allocated clients
  • Client liaison to respond to queries
  • Calculation and processing payroll for clients
  • RTI submissions to HMRC

Experience required:

  • AAT Certified or similar
  • Experience of preparing Payroll
  • 2+ years Bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with Sage 50
