Lead EV Safety Trainer

Expleo are currently working with a niche vehicle manufacturer, globally renowned for lightweight ground breaking vehicles, who are currently recruiting for a Lead EV Safety Curriculum Developer and Trainer, on a permanent basis, based in Warwickshire.
The Lead EV Safety Curriculum Developer and Trainer is responsible for Electric Vehicle safety curriculum development and delivery, demanding a high level of diligence. The role encompasses an EV Safety Framework, delivering EV Safety training operationally within a dedicated training facility, supporting all training needs, whilst providing technical guidance and authority to achieve high standards of High Voltage Electrical safety.
Responsibilities of the EV Safety Curriculum Developer and Trainer include:
Develop EV safety framework training curriculum, delivering to all business function requirements Assist in the development of training course material for classroom and e-learning platforms Conduct training needs analysis across business functions Delivery training internally and externally covering industry specialisms Develop accredited aims and objectives to meet industry needs Work with governing bodies to deliver a high standard of accreditation Assist in the development of EV safety standards Deliver a data driven approach, promoting compliance to appropriate safety regulations Develop, document and file business functions, specific to the EV safety Policy Contribute to the management and delivery of the Propulsion EV safety strategy Assist in the day to day running of the new training facility Liaise with external clients and support training needsBackground, skills and experience required for the role of EV Safety Curriculum Developer and Trainer:
Qualified in a training or curriculum development discipline Internal verification experience / qualified Experience of the OEM Service sector and development of the Service process Extensive knowledge of EV Safety Concepts and Safety Regulations A working knowledge HSE regulations including electricity at work act Experience of BEV and PHEV system solutions and technologies Knowledge of official document creation Standards and Requirements Proficient with MS Office including Word and Powerpoint Strong people skills Excellent presentation skillsA background in Engineering, ideally within Vehicle Engineering, Powertrain or Electrical, experience of Learning Management Systems and automotive diagnostic systems, working knowledge of HSE regulations and Market of Sale legislation, experience of complex high voltage systems and safe operating conditions is desirable.
