Small Works Manager

Are you a Contracts Manager looking for a new challenge?

Currently I am working with an Architectural Glazing Refurbishment company based in Camberley, who are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who is skilled in managing multiple projects at the same time.

Due to the nature of the role this is a very specialist position and naturally will come with its own challenges

My client is looking for some one who has worked their way up to where they are now, with substantial experience within the glazing industry. Specifically high-level glazing replacement. Ideally a Small Works Manager or a Senior Glazing Project Manager.

You will be heading up the Maintenance and Specialist Projects Division currently turning over £1.6m per year which is built up of project values ranging from £5k to £350k. The spotlight will be on you to demonstrate your knowledge and ability. With this will come rewards.

Requirements for the role are as follows:

  • Experience with working at heights on commercial glazing projects
  • Technical knowledge of commercial glazing and glazing systems (Planar, Schuco, Raico)
  • Aware of the requirement of maintenance Projects where you are working on numerous small projects at the same time
  • Computer literate to a good standard using Word and Excel.
  • Have relevant experience in Glazing Maintenance
  • Have relevant experience in managing multiple projects at once and installation teams
  • Have relevant CSCS card for role to be undertaken
  • Have SMSTS or SSSTS or be prepared to attend course to obtain qualification
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Prepared to travel to projects all over Mainland UK
  • Confident and flexible approach essential
  • Be proactive, very organized and a team player
  • Be Forward thinking individual who can think on their feet
  • Be able to multi-task, good problem solver and prioritize their own workload.

You will be provided with:

  • Holiday 23 (3 days to be taken at Christmas shutdown)
  • Up to £65,000 per year based on experience
