The Project

You will initially oversee a £10m New Build Commercial Project based in West Yorkshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

  • At least 5 years of experience in delivering large scale new build / refurbishment projects in a Senior / Site management position.

Duties

  • Health & Safety
  • Manage the KPIs
  • Progress Reporting
  • Updating Site Diaries
  • Inductions / Toolbox Talks
  • Quality Inspections / Snagging
  • Ordering / Receiving of materials
  • Attending and Participating in Project meetings
  • Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
  • Consider the customer experience throughout the scheme's development
  • Liaising with local residents/businesses/schools who may be impacted by our site works
  • Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team and project stakeholders
  • You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment
  • Fully responsible for the successful operational delivery of Projects on site ensuring safety, product quality, are completed within the contracted timescales, safely and within financial controls
  • Strong leadership skills including experience in leading site teams, large programmes of work and has the confidence and ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets
