Location Bedfordshire

Salary - £55k - £60k + Car Allowance + Package


One of the countrys leading main contractors has a fantastic opportunity for an MEP Site Manager to join their building division

If you are seeking your next career move and have a background in Site Management and or Mechanical & Electrical, then this could be a great development opportunity for you.

The role will see you work on their live sites managing all aspects of the sub-contracted MEP works. This will involve but not be limited to health & safety obligations, quality & progress reporting, monitoring of commissioning, coordinating with other trades and overseeing utility connections.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting excellence in health and safety standards
  • Managing and issuing all necessary permits for MEP sub-contract works
  • Ensuring quality management processes are implemented
  • Coordinating delivery of utilities to meet programme milestones
  • Managing timely delivery of temporary supplies required for site setup
  • Ensuring MEP programme milestones are achieved
  • Ensuring coordination with other sub-contract packages
  • Providing technical support to site teams about the MEP sub-contract works
  • Ensuring installation standards are adhered to and compliant with contractual requirements
  • Ensuring systems are commissioned in a timely manner and in line with industry standards
  • Preparation and presentation of all necessary MEP related documents required for successful project handover

Skills and experience required

  • Previous experience of managing mechanical or electrical works on site
  • Proven Independent working and drive for results
  • Knowledge of building process and various building components
  • Hold a full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Fully qualified as either an electrician, plumber, HVAC engineer or other relevant trade
