Health & Safety Trainer

A leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Health & Safety Trainer to work on a 12 months FTC. With experience developing and delivering training in a fast paced environment you will have a strong understanding of health & safety policies and risk management and have experience of training people on best practice in Health and Safety. This position can be offered on either a full time or part time basis

Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. (FTC) + benefits

The vacancy
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering training on safe and healthy working practises on site.
Key responsibilities include:Developing Training resources to deliver to employees in line with training matrixSupport role out of new EHS processesPresenting training to employeesWriting training manualsSupport upskilling the team to be able to continue improving Health and Safety on site

The Person
With experience delivering Health & Safety Training you will ideally have experience working in a hands on, fast paced environment. Candidates will ideally be NEBOSH qualified or have a relevant H&S qualification and up to date knowledge of current legislation and standards.
You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and have experience providing teaching/coaching on Health and Safety Policies at all levels. A high level of competence with Microsoft packages (particularly Powerpoint) to provide presentations is also required.
